Coast - Organic Seaweed, Juniper & Tea Tree Soap Bar has been named Best Soap at The Makers Prize 2026.
The Makers Prize is Britain's independent award for makers of soap, bath, body and home goods. The 2026 winners were chosen by an independent panel of makers, artists, formulators and specialists, looking at craftsmanship, creativity, ingredients, presentation and performance.
This year, Bohemia & Flower's Coast botanical soap was selected as the winner of the Best Soap category!
The judges praised all aspects of Coast and especially appreciated its beautiful hand-stamped finish and flecks of botanicals - details that make this bar really special!
An award winning soap inspired by the Kent coast
Inspired by rock samphire, wild swims, salty air and my beloved Kent coastline, I dreamt up Coast to capture something of that landscape in an everyday bar of soap, fresh, herbaceous and mineral rich. Like bringing that experience into the bathroom with you.
Each bar is handmade in small batches in Faversham, Kent, using plant oils, organic Cornish kelp and pure essential oils of sweet fennel, juniper, tea tree and patchouli.
Coast, like all Bohemia & Flower soap bars, is made using the traditional cold process method before being poured into hand built wooden moulds, hand cut, individually stamped & left to 'cure' (harden up ready for use) in the Bohemia & Flower soap studio.
