A beautiful handmade classical shell soap dish from the studio of Margate based ceramicist of Minnie Mae Stott. These hand painted classical shell soap dishes are based on a naive copy of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus that Minnie spotted painted on a chair in a seaside cafe.
Both beautiful & practical, extend the life of your natural bar soap by allowing it to drain & dry between uses. As the painted surface ages it forms a gorgeous cracked patina.
